About the Artist
Lynn Schockmel has been painting since she was a child and has naturally acquired many of her skills through perseverance and practice. Growing up, Lynn always had an eye for art and was constantly trying something new to fulfill her artistic expressions. Exploring in drawing, sculpting, acrylic painting, and many other mediums; she always strived to push herself.
Finally stumbling upon a face painting kit, Lynn took up the hobby and quickly picked up the skills of a professional. Painting at numerous events and attending competitions throughout the world, Lynn began a journey to make a name for herself in the bodypainting industry. Easily transitioning from face painting to beautiful full bodypaintings, she amazed others with her raw talent, dedication and passion.
Now, after just a few short years, Lynn has received numerous awards and appeared in countless publications. Painting for some of the country's top events and companies, Lynn continues to master her art and awe viewers across the world.
At the beginning of 2012 she found the perfect match to her live style and passion: her beloved Marco Mazzini. Together with Marco, she is now able to combine both bodypainting and photography and much more...

↑ This is my first ever body painting! ↑
I did it on 15 July 2009 during the World Bodypainting Festival (Academy days) at Yolanda Bartram's workshop "Bodypainting Brush/Sponge".
My amazing model was Teri Wyble from Louisiana; I met her the day before and she became a friend to me since then.
